Brent was able to take Keith to get his Visa photo done today. That meant that he was able to get Keith out of the one room they've been visiting in all alone this whole week. :) He was able to show him off to the other families who are travelling with him right now too! I hear from the other mom that he looks to be about 5 months old even though he is almost 5 years old. She also said she thinks he could probably wear 3 to 6 months clothes! That is one TINY little boy! I can't wait to get him home and watch him start to grow and thrive.
He had to get all bundled up because it is VERY cold there. He looks like he is wondering "what on earth are they doing to me?". Remember that he never leaves the orphanage!
There is a very tiny little boy under that snow suit!
Oh my, they really can bury him even more!
"Leave room for me to breathe please!"
He did great on the ride. The first try at Visa pictures went ok and he was content, but right about the time he was bundled up again they said he had to do it again. (Sounds like he was as frustrated as me today with pictures!) He cried a little bit the 2nd time, but they did finally get it.
Don't worry sweet boy, that is just one of the steps to get you home. Soon you will be home with us forever and we are already planning to spoil you tremendously! You can see in the video below what he has learned to do to self stimulate. :( Children need to be in families and held so that they don't have to get this creative. He really is extra flexible, even for a child with Down Syndrome!
You can see from this picture, just how far back he puts his head.
I love to see him suck his thumb and would love to give him the comfort he needs to no longer have to find comfort on his own. Soon baby boy!
He doesn't seem to have been in a walker often (if at all), but there was one in the room when they got back from the Visa pictures.
This cute little guy will be making my heart ache until I can get him safely in my arms.
He may be small but his spirit seems to be mighty. And may I say just how very handsome he is!!
ReplyDeleteHe surely does have a mighty spirit! I think he's just the cutest little thing. We just need to get him home with some good nutrition and a kidney specialist. Thanks so much! I can't wait to see your boys!!
DeleteHe is SO adorable! Reminds me of my Levi in the picture of him sucking his thumb and dangling a toy on his other thumb. Levi could do that all day! I bet you can't wait to get him in your arms!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get him home and in my arms. More importantly I want to get him healthy and happy. The thumb sucking is ADORABLE though. :)
DeleteHe is unbelievably precious! Katie kept putting her head back exactly like that in her official MOJ video, Amanda. She's already gained so much strength. I am so excited to see the gains Keith will make once you have him in your care and he finally starts getting lots of love and therapy!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what love and God have in store for my little guy! I'm so thrilled with how well Katie is doing!
DeleteHe's just so amazing! I'm so happy for ya'll. He reminds me very much of our Joseph and makes me long for the day when we'll have all these babies home where they belong.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I just cannot help but smile :) He is sooooooo darn ADORABLE!!!!! What a little cutie pie. LOVE the pic of him all bundled up in his snowsuit--priceless! This lovie is going to absolutely blossom once home.
ReplyDeleteGod is so, so good, friend!
That bottom pic is my favorite yet. He is just way, way cute!!!! I can't wait to meet him when he is finally home.
