Waiting Children - Post #5

Today's post will be children so very much like our Nicholas.  They are in an easy country as far as requirements, cost, and travel!  They are all boys (who always wait longer and often don't get chosen) and older (another reason children wait).  These kids are just like Nicholas and just need to be loved.  They need a family to love them the way they are and pledge to help them become all they can be.  They may be rambunctious (boys usually are), ornery (what child isn't?), and even a little wild (imagine how any little boy would be if locked away in an institution with no opportunities!).  They may be behind in speech, skills, and development, but they SHOULD be, because they've had no opportunity!  Some all these boys likely live in the exact same facility as our Nicholas.  Whatever the other situations, they all are little boys who need a family!

If you are a Christian, then you are saved by the grace of God.  You were completely lost and without hope and a horrible sinner, yet God loved you enough to pay the ransom for your adoption into His family by giving His Son.  The cost of adopting one of these boys isn't nearly that high!  They are not near as hopeless!  They are just like you and every other person on this earth though - they were made in HIS image!  Yes, they are worth it!

  3. Thank you so much for posting about these boys, Amanda! It broke my heart to learn that most people want girls and not boys! We are hoping God lets us go back for some boys someday!

    1. I would love to see some little boys running around there too. God has big plans! I don't understand why people don't want these boys, but they are so cute and deserving. :)

  4. BOYS ARE BEAUTIFUL! That's why we're adopting one :) I don't know why more boys are not chosen, but I pray that others open their hearts to the blessing of boys. Jennifer
