Ok, these will be from their first night home - AKA before we went to bed. I'll get to more later, but I need to catch a little sleep before the opportunity gets away. lol
Ahnja was so excited once we got home!
Nicholas passed out as soon as he sat down on the couch practically.
Anita was tickled beyond words!!
Aleshia was sleepy but so cuddly!
Dayton snatched up Keith and has been watching over him ever since!
And eventually (about 3:30 am) every child was in their bed
and sound asleep
for the very first time!!!
Next chance that I get I will update you on more of the trip and how the first whole day went!
Thanks so much for the prayers, well wishes, support, and for following this journey.
Now that they are home a whole new journey has begun!
God is so amazingly good!!!
God is SO GOOD!! I am rejoicing with tears!! Thank you for these photos, Amanda!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! I too am typing through tears of joy. May God bless you all mightily through this transition, and thank you so much for adopting these children.
ReplyDeleteDayton--that's a man after God's own heart in the making right there.
I am so in love with your family and so can't wait to meet all of you! What a priviledge it has been to 'watch' these babes come home forever. I'm so glad you're home Amanda. It is a good week for the heart which loves the orphan.
ReplyDeleteI love your family and can't believe all 5 are home now! Safe and loved. Can't wait to see more pictures of your precious treasures.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they are all home! Do you feel like it is a dream? All that waiting and yet here they are. I am so happy for you.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord Amanda!!! So glad you and yours are safe and sound where you belong:)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know you and all your little ones have made it home safely. Your additions to your family are so beautiful! Can't wait to hear about everyone thriving, growing, learning, and loving together. Here's to all the growth, love, progress, and accomplishment to come :)
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog and have been so blessed by it. We have adopted 2 children as infants that have Down Syndrome and hope to adopt more. We only have a domestic home study so cannot adopt internationally. I do have a question for you about the bed/crib with the white slats-could you please tell me about it. Our 3 1/2 year old is a climber and a very active girl! We have her in a crib with a crib tent while she is asleep-but get her out as soon as she wakes up. We are afraid if we put her in a regular bed she would fall out or a floor mat she would wander at night. I pray that your new children will adjust quickly-God is so good!
ReplyDeleteSo good to you all home! Praising God with for your newest little loves.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is so happy for your family and those precious children!
