Travel Challenges for Trip #2: White Food?

So I thought today that I'd ask for your help in a different way!  Our sweet Charity poses some interesting challenges for the pickup trip.  Charity ONLY eats WHITE FOOD.  Once home we will begin to work on this challenge over time slowly and we will have various things available to us in order to make sure that she is getting adequate nutrition (Thank God for vanilla Pediasure!  lol).

Right now I'm compiling a list of things that I can take to feed her on the airplane ride home mostly.  The hotel we stay at will have fresh white yogurt and milk.  They will also have toast which she likes soaked in tea.

Let me just remind that she is ADORABLE!  You can read more about her HERE.  I think she is hilarious and I love stubborn, so this is just a minor issue.  (wink)

So, Charity only eats VERY SOFT WHITE FOODS and our travel home will consist of approximately 24 hours of travel.

I have some ideas, but would love to hear your ideas of food that will clear airport security for her!

Don't forget our giveaway going on to help bring them home!  I have lots of gifts to draw for to thank some of you for helping us in this last leg of bringing them home!  CLICK HERE TO GO SEE MORE!

  1. How about instantaneous potato flakes? You can get the small packets at the supermarket. Cream of wheat would work similarly. You could ask for hot water from a stewardess.

    1. I definitely think those will work and possibly oatmeal packets. I'm going to take little packets of baby formula as well. Thanks for the reminder that instant potatoes come in small packets. lol I sometimes forget that those types of things do with our huge family!

  3. What about the little puffs they make for babies. They are dry, like snack food and they are good for you. I know they taste good too.

    1. I'm going to "try" them but she is use to everything very "soft" and wet as they feed everything there moistened. I'm thinking I may be able to soften them in formula though. They soak her toast in tea. . .

  4. Hmm, it has been a while since I went down the baby food aisle but they used to have jars of bananas and also vanilla custard. They might "spice up" some cream of wheat or mashed potatoes.

    1. Yes, both of those baby foods are definitely on my list. They also have a "banana yogurt" out in the baby food aisle that is not true yogurt and therefore not refrigerated. :)

    1. The snack pack pudding is probably a go and I can grab the powdered kind to take and add to milk. She does all soft foods and smoother consistencies so I don't know about the others. . . she's a little "complicated". lol Its ok though, bc I am too in some ways. lol
